Where products are tested and stored

Warehousing & GSDP

Temperature-controlled zones and cold rooms, sampling and dispensing booths, and storage and distribution layouts designed ready for thermal mapping.

Quality control & supply chain

What we design

  • Temperature-controlled zones & cold rooms
  • Sampling & dispensing booths
  • Layouts ready for thermal mapping

A warehouse is a controlled environment with a traffic problem. Goods have to move from dock to quarantine to release without stock status ever being ambiguous, temperature zones must hold their range in a MENA summer, and the layout should let the eventual thermal mapping find uniform conditions rather than surprises.

Typical zones

AreaDesigned for
Receiving & dispatchDocks sized to the vehicle and sealed against the outside air
Quarantine & releasedPhysically distinct areas so stock status is never in doubt
Cold rooms2–8 °C and frozen storage, with redundancy and monitoring designed in
Sampling & dispensing boothsClassified booths placed on the material route, not off it
Controlled & rejected stockSecured areas with their own access control

Decisions we settle early

  1. Temperature zones

Which ranges you hold and where, with air distribution designed for an even profile.

  2. Stock flow

Dock to quarantine to release to dispatch, so statuses never mix on the floor.

  3. Resilience

Standby cooling, power and monitoring for the zones that cannot be allowed to drift.

Let’s design it right.

From the first concept sketch to an issued-for-construction package, Agon designs pharmaceutical facilities that meet the highest international standards. We would welcome the conversation.
